opinator39 about server : Hey there! If you're not familiar with TechnoBuffalo, they're a tech-reviewing YouTube channel that recently hit 1 Million subscribers. They opened this server on July 10, 2011, which is around the time that Minecraft multiplayer servers were just being started. This server still lives on today and has a very friendly community and carefully-picked staff members. The reason that some of the reviews you've read might not be so clear is because TechnoBuffalo is a BungeeCord server, which means it connects multiple Minecraft servers to form a network. Right now there are 4 servers in this network, and it will most likely be expanded in the future. The server that you start out on is hub. This is the central gateway to all of the other servers. There is also a survival server in this network, which the majority of the players spend their time on. It uses plugins like jobs and chestshop to manage the economy. You can get better ranks in survival by having enough playtime on the server and earning enough in-game money. No donations! :) Not a survival fan? That's ok! There's a creative server too! The creative server on TechnoBuffalo has a plot system. Each plot is 153x153 in size. You start out with one plot and you can get more plots as you rank up. The ranking system on creative is different than in survival. To rank up once, build something that simply isn't horrible. To rank up another time, build something that will "wow" the staff team. And to rank up again, fill up an entire plot. This last rank includes WorldEdit. The last server in this network at the moment is the arcade server. This server has just about any mini game you can think of. Hunger games, skywars, walls, spleef, quake, and many more! Sadly though, the arcade server is down right now. It will most likely be on in a few weeks or so. But there's also a minigame on the survival server that's exclusive to TechnoBuffalo. We like to call it "World War TechnoBuffalo" or "WWTB" for short. I could explain this game in detail while on the server if you're interested. Do you like competition? This server used to have factions and I hope they bring it back soon. Fingers crossed! I had a great time while TechnoBuffalo had factions. This server has huge capabilities right now and is always being improved!
